The world is full of colours; yet their power often escapes our awareness.
At Ideal Work we have embraced the philosophy that materials and colours are much more than simple elements of an interior design project. Their professional use represents a powerful tool to shape experiences, to emphasise the positive and reduce the negative.
This is why we have devised a new colour palette, which transforms the way we perceive the spaces around us. Colour design plays a key role in setting up the atmosphere of a space, with the primary objective of improving the well-being of those who live there, work there or visit it.
Ideal Work’s first fundamental concern was dividing the palette into five distinct colour ranges, which serve as a matrix for classifying materials. Such a layered approach allows for a variety of colour expressions, guiding the choice from subtle and delicate to vibrant and bold. The palette begins with light and soft shades, continues with greys and dark shades, culminates in intense colours, and concludes with pastel shades.
Tone-on-tone combinations within each range create a harmonious visual balance. This gradual gradient across the range offers a feeling of continuity and aesthetic cohesion.
Light and soft shades convey a feeling of lightness and serenity, and create a welcoming atmosphere. With greys and dark tones, the environment takes on an enveloping depth, inviting reflection and introspection.
The culmination of the palette —intense colours and pastel shades — offers an explosion of vitality and creativity. These shades capture the attention and stimulate the mind, transforming the space into a vibrant environment in perfect resonance with the energy of everyday life.
Ideal Work’s approach to colour design also considers the orientation of space, which offers endless possibilities for expression.
The results can be surprising and ever-changing.
Ideal Work’s new colour palette creates a multisensory experience able to transform interior environments into spaces that can be felt and lived at their best.
