The result of an important renovation of a 1940s villa on the shores of the Black Sea, the Euforia Retreat & Spa Hotel is now a place of well-being and beauty, where perfect serenity reigns. Microtopping® for the interiors and Rasico® for the exteriors contribute to the elegance of the whole and create continuity between areas.
A hotel on the beach, where blue sea sparkles and only the sound of the waves can be heard: welcome to Euforia Retreat & Spa Hotel in Eforie, Romania, on the Black Sea coast.
The structure was conceived to be a place of serenity and beauty, where the local spirit and the charm of the Black Sea converge perfectly. Hotel Euforia was developed from a villa dating back to the 1940s and which the owners wanted to restore to its ancient splendour — when Eforie was a royal town. Today the structure has 20 rooms, a gourmet restaurant, swimming pool and spa area. The interior was designed by Annterior Studio, which opted to create relaxed and elegant environments where sand and white tones predominate, whilst the walls are decorated with marine images and illustrations of ancient Eforie.
Although each room is furnished differently and with great attention to detail, all fit perfectly into the maritime context in which the hotel is located. To enrich the interior design, carefully selected antique accessories have been added to the furnishings, contributing towards giving a unique character to the hotel whilst at the same time adding that sense of belonging in the territory and of authenticity which guests can appreciate during their stay.
To bring together the spaces and give a sense of continuity and elegance to the interior, Microtopping® in Silver Gray tone was chosen for the floors, walls, some solid furnishings and stairs. Microtopping® is an Ideal Work seamless solution for both horizontal and vertical application. As it can cover any solid surface in just 3 mm thickness, Microtopping® is very suitable for renovation applications as it allows the minimisation of costs and installation times. In continuity with Microtopping®, Rasico® was used for the exterior, again in Silver Gray tones. Rasico® is a highly resistant cement-based decorative finish for exteriors, with a thickness of 3-4 mm, which offers an original design characterised by a unique texture. Rasico® is also particularly suitable for use in renovation projects as it guarantees extremely rapid implementation with a minimum amount of material, avoiding the removal of the pre-existing surface. Finally, it is ideal for external areas and pool decks as, after specific protective treatments, it becomes resistant to abrasion, oils, water, atmospheric agents and UV rays.
